What is Butterfly going to be about?
Butterfly follows the story of an 11-year-old boy.
The series is about Max, who makes the huge decision that he wants to live life as a girl.
He had always dressed as a girl at home, but he then decides that he doesn't want to hide who he is.
His mum, Vicky and father, Stephen, no longer live together, which puts additional pressure on Max who yearns for an idyllic home life.
Who is in the cast of Butterfly?
Anna Friel plays mum Vicky. She is the co-producer on the series.
Max/Maxine is played by Callum Booth Ford.
