Unforgotten is back on ITV for a fifth instalment and following an anonymous call, a shocking discovery flips the case on its head. The murder suspects are left to decide if they should keep running or face the truth. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about who is in the cast.

Cheryl – Hebe Beardsall
Cheryl is Jay’s (played by Rhys Yates) girlfriend who has been struggling with her drug addiction.
Throughout the series she has continued to spiral into a dark place.
The character is played by Hebe Beardsall, a 29-year-old actress known for playing Ariana Dumbledore in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films.
Her other recent credits include the new season of Grace, The Witcher: Blood Origin and Andor.
Sal – Michelle Bonnard
Sal is Sunny’s (Sanjeev Bhaskar) fiancée who has experienced real tragedy this season.
She is played by Michelle Bonnard, a 42-year-old actress and screenwriter.
She is known for her roles in Doctors, Casualty and Five Days.

Daryl – Lewis Ian Bray
Daryl is played by Lewis Ian Bray, an actor and writer who embraces his autism and ADHD diagnosis.
He went from performing in amateur stage productions to co-writing his first narrative short film titled Ryan Can’t Read.
His acting credits include China Towns and Jolt.
Elton King – Samson Cox-Vinell
Elton King is a gang associate of Jay’s, played by Samson Cox-Vinell.
The actor’s recent credits include Andor, The Walk-in and Industry.
Sunny actor Bhaskar has praised the guest cast of season five in a previous interview.
Jarvis – Alexander Forsyth
Jarvis is played by Alexander Forsyth, whose TV credits include Casualty, The Capture and The Long Shadow.
As for film, he has previously starred in War Machine and The Dark Channel.
Rebecca – Maria Friedman
Rebecca is played by Maria Friedman, a 63-year-old actress and stage director.
She is best known for her work in musical theatre, but has many TV credits to her name.
The star has taken on roles in Red Dwarf, Casualty and EastEnders.

Dave Adams – Mark Frost
Dave is Ebele’s partner and the chef at their successful vegan restaurant.
He is played by Mark Frost, a 55-year-old English actor who has worked in theatre and TV.
His credits include Doctors, The Bill and Poldark.
Seema – Nimmi Harasgama
Seema is played by Nimmi Harasgama, an actress, writer and producer.
She is best known for playing Nurse Mari in ITV’s The Good Karma Hospital.
Her other credits include Doctors and Requiem.
Ebele Falade – Martina Laird
Restaurant owner Ebele is played by Martina Laird, a 52-year-old Trinidadian actress.
The star also works as a director and acting teacher.

DS Fran Lingley – Carolina Main
Fran is played by Carolina Main, an English actress otherwise known for playing Cat Hogan in Blood.
Her other credits include The Alienist, Midsomer Murders and Grantchester.
