Today host Carson Daly's daughter Goldie, 1, crashes his live TV segment but seasoned star takes mishap in stride

CARSON Daly's one-year-old daughter Goldie crashed his live TV segment on Monday and stole the show from her famous dad.

The Today Show host welcomed the tiny tot alongside his wife Siri in March of 2020.

Carson, 48, was interrupted by an adorable surprise during his Popstart segment on Monday morning.

While speaking about Janet Jackson's new documentary, a sweet voice could be heard calling: "Da-da, da-da," in the background.

In the studio, his fellow hosts Al Roker, Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb, and Sheinelle Jones began laughing as they asked where the cute noise was coming from.

"Who do we have?" Hoda asked, as Carson and his wife share four small kids.

"Do we have Go Go?" Al inquired, as baby Goldie, one, then climbed in her dad's lap.

The television star then grabbed his tiny tot and lifted her into the camera's view as she smiled brightly for fans.

"Did you just walk in here by yourself?" Carson asked his newest addition.

"Yeah!" Goldie shouted in response.

The toddler then remained with her dad for the rest of the segment as he spoke about current highlights in entertainment news.

The little girl helped her father hold up photos of Queen Elizabeth II, the cast of The Office, and even John Travolta.

“Who is that?” Carson asked Goldie, who then adorably replied: “Tr-vo-a."

Before signing off, the tiny tot blew kisses and waved goodbye to the other correspondents and viewers.

Carson and his wife Siri tied the knot in 2015 and share four kids, Jackson, 12, Etta, nine, London, seven, and Goldie, one.

The couple announced the arrival of their third daughter in March of 2020 with a sweet post on social media.

In the image, the pair were seen holding their child in the hospital while wearing face masks.

The caption read: "She was born at 4:08pm (ET) coming in at 8.2 lbs & 20 inches long. Go Go and mom are doing great."

Carson and his wife also paid a special thank you to the staff at the New York hospital where Go Go was born.

"The Daly family wants to send a special shout out to the incredibly brave and selfless medical staff at our hospital in New York and also the many courageous people on the front lines of this dreadful virus," they gushed.

"We thank God not only for the safe birth of our daughter but for their tireless work attending to so many in need. It is a bittersweet event for us as we are extremely grateful, but also mindful of this unparalleled time in our history.

They continued: "We appreciate your well wishes and ask that you join us in praying for the many suffering around the world. God Bless you all."

Carson first revealed that they would be welcoming a new addition in September of 2019 during a special episode of the Today Show.

He told his co-hosts: “We’re thrilled. We have the best family. We have a lot of fun, so we thought, ‘Why not? Let’s have another one.’”

"We all get along so well, we love each other so much. This will be a nice addition, and all the kids are really excited."
