Tipping Point viewers were left fuming at their TV screens over one of the player’s answers – and things only got worse for her.
The ITV programme was back for another instalment on Friday (August 4) as Ben Shephard welcomed four players onto the show.
As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the GMB host introduced contestants Eloise, Mayhul, Bernie and Wayne before they battled it out to bag some serious cash.

But when it came to Bernie’s turn – she definitely got the viewers talking at home thanks to the incorrect answer she gave.
During the second round, Ben asked: “The 'Madchester' music scene is associated with which Northern city?”
To which she replied: “Newcastle,” which was the wrong answer as it is Manchester.
Viewers clocked the epic blunder and rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“How does Madchester sounds like Newcastle,” fumed one viewer, as someone else quipped: “Wow that has to be the worst answer ever.”
A third angry social media user then chimed in and said: “Madchester = Newcastle. F*cking brilliant Bernie.”
Another Tipping Point viewer proclaimed: “Benny Boy: 'MAdCHESTER was associated with which Northern city?'. Bernie: 'Newcastle'.”
Despite reaching the second round with fellow players Mayhul and Wayne, her luck was cut short and Bernie found herself booted from the ITV show empty handed.

In the final head-to-head round between Wayne and Mayhul, it was the latter that came up triumphs.
After being crowned the champ of the episode, he took on the famous machine one last time to try and take home the ten grand jackpot prize.
However, he decided to stick with the £2750 he had bagged already and walk away with that.
