The Masked Singer UK fans ‘annoyed’ as Rita Ora makes outrageous celebrity guess

The Masked Singer UK viewers were left "annoyed" during the first episode of the new series at Rita Ora's ludicrous guess that didn't land well.

The 31-year-old songstress also failed to win over the audience who were completely silent when she exclaimed her thoughts about Lionfish.

Lionfish performed Nessus Dorma on the New Years Day programme and blew everyone away with their incredible vocal range.

As host Joel Dommett, 36, as the judging panel – which includes Rita, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall – for their verdicts.

The Anywhere hitmaker answered: "Ellen Degeneres," and nobody seemed to agree with her.

Fans at home were also "annoyed" by the guess, complaining that the panel always select people who would never step foot on the stage.

One person wrote: "#TheMaskedSingerUK annoys me coz the panel guess celebrities who’d never step foot on their stage."

Another tweet read: "Off course it's not Ellen, Rita! #TheMaskedSingerUK."

While a third added: "The deafening silence when Rita thought Lionfish singing Nessus Dorma."
