Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) is set to be confronted by the return of grandson Peter (Thomas Law) in upcoming EastEnders episodes, and there is certainly an important discussion to be had.
Last year, Kathy was left horrified when she learnt that son Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) had attacked Peter, but urged her grandson to keep quiet about the situation.
However, after being continually wound up by Ben, Peter reported him to the police, leaving Kathy devastated.
In her fury, she disowned Peter, disgusted that he would turn on his own family in such a way.
Things only got worse from there, as Peter did a runner from the Square, taking Kathy’s savings with him!
Sorry, this video isn’t available any more.
In upcoming scenes, Kathy will return from her dream honeymoon and find herself roped into catering for Anna Knight’s (Molly Rainford) 21st birthday party.
As she prepares the food, she is hit with a complete shock as she comes face to face with none other than Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
As you might expect, the scenes that follow are explosive, as all hell breaks loose at No.45.
During the confrontation, Cindy lets slip that Peter is also back in Walford.
Peter returned to Walford after being summoned by half-brother Bobby (Clay Milner Russell), who had been unable to contact Kathy while she was away.
Concerned that she had decided to sell the Chippy, he called his brother for help.
Kathy soon decides it is time to face Peter, and the pair have a heart to heart.
Will they be able to forgive each other, or will another blazing row ensue?
