Strictly Come Dancing contestant Dan Walker appeared to accidentally let slip the start date of the upcoming series on Wednesday's episode of BBC Breakfast.
The hit BBC One dance show typically kicks off in September, however, confirmation of when the new series was due to start had yet to be revealed.
During Wednesday's episode of BBC Breakfast, Dan, 44, appeared to let slip that the start date will in fact be 18 September, which is just over two weeks away.
The presenter was talking to co-host Louise Minchin as she revealed that her last day on the BBC Breakfast sofa will be September 15.
Louise, 52, sweetly said: "I will be watching you and even vote for you. When does it start?"
To which Dan replied: "Well, I was just going to put your date in the diary. It actually starts, well, I meet, the meet and greet the partner in a couple of days time.
"Then the first show is on the 18th and the live shows start on the 25th!"
Louise then joked: "I leave on the 15th, you on the 18th!"
To which Dan quipped: "Like it's all been planned out, which it hasn't!"
The Strictly line-up was revealed last month with the likes of McFly singer Tom Fletcher, actress Katie McGlynn and TV presenter AJ Odudu leading the class of 2021.
Speaking after he was announced for the upcoming series, Dan admitted that he was "definitely excited" but also a "little bit worried".
The TV presenter said: "I am definitely excited, a little bit worried, mostly terrified and a small part of me is considering going into hiding!
"My kids have only ever asked me to go on two shows… Saturday Mash Up and Strictly. I did Saturday Mash Up this summer so… it’s time to embrace the sequins!"

It comes after Strictly Come Dancing was recently thrown into chaos after professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
The 31 year old is said to have already started pre-season filming for the hit BBC dance show, meaning many members of the cast and crew must now isolate for 10 days.
According to The Sun, bosses now fear more cases could break out, despite the majority of cast members being double vaccinated.
