Spoilers: Ste Hay saved from far-right hell in Hollyoaks at last?

Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is desperate to get away from Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn) and Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) in Hollyoaks, but this is proving incredibly difficult considering the far-right extremists are keeping a close eye on him. However, in spite of how bleak the situation seems, Ste’s given some hope in the coming episodes.

Ste throws a note over the fence and into the Maalik’s yard. Azim (Nav Sidhu) discovers the note and waits in the yard, hoping to communicate with him over the fence. Once Ste arrives, he begs Azim for help in getting away from Stuart and Jonny and — in spite of the damage that’s Ste’s assisted in causing — Azim agrees to help, as reveals that he once had a friend whom he was unable to save.

Meanwhile, Imran (Ijaz Rana) tells Sid that he’s as guilty as dad Stuart for the explosion — but Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) disagrees with this sentiment, as she believes it to be unfair for someone to be judged by the actions of their parents.

Back at the house, Ste continues to keep Stuart and Jonny on side, and thus records a propaganda video on their behalf. However, he gets a phone reminder about a HIV hospital appointment — and hopes that he’ll be able to get out of the house. However, Jonny agrees to accompany him.

Upon their arrival at the hospital, they realise that Peri (Ruby O’Donnell) is there as a trainee nurse, and she proceeds to inform Jonny that only immediate family can go into the appointment with Ste.

Later in the week, Ste’s determined to come up with an excuse to get out of that house, and he eventually manages to do so — but Stuart won’t let him leave, and tells him to remain where he is while both he and Jonny meet with a rival group. In his absence, Stuart orders Sid to keep an eye on Ste.

However, unbeknown to Stuart, Sid has a date with Juliet — and Ste’s able to use this to convince Sid to leave him on his own.

Ste manages to meet with Prevent and is taken back when he realises that that the officer, Benjamin, was once a member of a far-right organisation too. He listens to what Benjamin has to say, but the thought of moving away and being forced to start all over again is simply too overwhelming.

Later, Ste voices his concerns to Azim — through the fence, of course.

Will he be able to get the help that he needs in order to get away from Jonny and Stuart?

Or will the far-right extremists manage to work out what he’s doing first?

One to watch: Tuesday 12thNovember at 7pm on E4.
