Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay) have discovered Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) was responsible for the recent attacks in EastEnders, including the one on Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson).
Last night, Ben attacked Peter, thinking he was a homophobic man who made comments about Callum’s defaced police poster.
Tonight, as Peter recovered from the near-death experience, Kathy was expressing her fear to Ben and Jay (Jamie Borthwick), terrified there’s a new ‘Walford Attacker’ on the loose.
After mentioning the possibility of Peter’s attack being connected to the one that put a man in a coma, Jay looked at Ben, clearly wondering if he knew anything.
Outside, Jay confronted Ben who told his best mate he wasn’t involved – but Jay didn’t believe him.
Later on, as Callum and Ben celebrated signing a lease on Sharon’s old flat, Jay was visiting Kathy – telling her everything.
As the happy couple entered Kathy’s house, the smile on Ben’s face soon dropped as he realised what Jay had done.
Kathy and Callum were disgusted to learn Ben had attacked Peter, but where do we go from here?
The attacks in Walford are being investigated by the police, which means Callum has a duty to report Ben – but will he?
Or will he keep things quiet, aware his husband is already struggling right now?
