Spoilers: EastEnders to reveal Stuart as Frankie's real dad in huge twist?

EastEnders could be set to throw another huge twist into the mix, according to a fan theory doing the rounds, with many viewers convinced that Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) isn’t actually the real father of Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) – Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) is!

Katy (Simone Lahbib), who sexually and emotionally abused Mick while he was a child in care, recently admitted to him that Frankie is indeed his daughter after she recently tracked him down.

But without a DNA test having been done yet, fans are dubious – after all, Katy doesn’t have a history with honesty.

Many are believing that Stuart may have been another of Katy’s victims as he knew Mick through childhood and has certainly made it clear in recent scenes that he was aware of her.

And while he has given no hint that he had any kind of connection with Katy himself, we know Stuart has had an extremely troubled life which has caused to lash out and behave in despicable ways – from framing Mick and bullying Tina through to blackmailing and assaulting Linda.

When Stuart first arrived, he wanted to get Mick involved in an entrapment paedophile hunter scheme he had going too – so was that a result of his own terrible past?

Could fans be onto something?

It’s certainly a theory!

As far as metro.co.uk understands, there is no further indication that this will be the outcome of the story but who knows, it does have a long way to go yet!

And next week, another arrival into the mix complicates things even further.
