Netflix Original series Selling Sunset sees realtors from the Oppenheim Group show their client a number of gorgeous and rather expensive properties in the heart of LA, California, USA. One of the houses cost a whopping $40million and wasn’t sold during the Netflix series, despite the best efforts of Selling Sunset cast members Christine Quinn and Heather Young. Jason Oppenheim, co-owner of the Oppenheim Group, exclusively revealed to Express.co.uk the current status of the $40million house.
Did the $40million house sell from Selling Sunset?
Selling Sunset viewers watched as Oppenheim Group realtors Heather and Christine both showed their respective clients around a $40million house.
The property was still under construction during the series, but this didn’t put off the realtors’ wealthy clients expressing an interest.
However, Jason Oppenheim has revealed the property is still under construction and is yet to have a buyer.
DID MARY AND ROMAIN FROM SELLING SUNSET GET MARRIED?
The Netflix star said: “The $40million house is still under construction.
“The telephone poles have come down and final finishes will be completed over the next couple of months.
“(Then) we will go full steam ahead marketing and selling the property.”
Heather said on Selling Sunset the house is “the biggest listing I’ve ever had and the biggest one at the Oppenheim Group.”
The house is around 20,000 square feet in size and comes with a gym and two saunas.
Heather also revealed there is an atrium with a palm tree built into the house.
Add to the mix a movie theatre and a 150-foot long pool, and it’s no surprise why the house on Selling Sunset costs $40million.
