Seann Walsh praised by 'proud teacher' Katya Jones after 46 hours of rehearsals this week ahead of tonight's Strictly performance

The couple – who were caught sharing a drunken snog earlier this month – will dance a Quickstep to Jake Bugg's song Lightning Bolt on tonight's show.

The fast-paced routine has required lots of hours together in the rehearsal room, and Katya, 29, has shared her pride in Seann's efforts.

Taking to Instagram, the professional dancer shared a clip from her Quickstep routine with Joe McFadden last year.

Katya – who won the 2017 series with the former Holby City actor – wrote alongside it: "Tonight we're doing Quickstep, so here is a little look back to this high speed routine I did with @mrjoemcfadden in week 10 last year!!

"Every little improvement is a massive achievement for these guys who work their socks off every single day to be as good as they can!

"@seannwalsh and I rehearsed 46 hours this week, I’m a proud teacher already! Let’s do this! #quickstep #dance#strictlycomedancing #teamdreamcurls#dancing #saturday #saturdaynight".

Her post comes after viewers got a sneak peek of them training together for tonight's show on Friday's It Takes Two.

On Thursday, Seann returned to social media for the first time since they were caught cheating on their respective partners outside a pub in London to talk about their Quickstep rehearsals.

The 32-year-old took to his Instagram to upload a story of him taking a break during late night rehearsals.

In the clip a five-second countdown happened before the camera focuseed on Seann’s face as he munched on some watermelon.
Addressing the camera as he chewed, he said: “ Alright? So the diet of a dancer is watermelon – very good fruit, no carbohydrates.

“And then, followed by chicken and vegetable…”

He was then interrupted by Katya’s voice calling his name in the background and beckoning him to return to rehearsals.
