Two acts were voted off The X Factor in a shock double elimination tonight.
Olatunji Yearwood was the first act to immediately be evicted after receiving the fewest number of votes.
Janice Robinson and Armstrong Martins also sat at the bottom of the vote and the pair had to battle it out in a sing-off this evening.
While Louis Tomlinson voted to save his own act Armstong, all the other judges saved the 90s hitmaker.
This comes after viewers slammed the show last night as the series went live for the first time.
Some fans even called for the show to be "put out of its misery" and branded the show and its performances "dire", which also included a blunder at the beginning of the show after the announcer called out the wrong name .
Many even shared screengrabs of host Dermot O’Leary’s face, which showed him appearing to cringe.
Flocking to Twitter , one fan didn’t hold back: "They should just put the # xfactor out of its misery. The voiceover guy can’t get the names right, Dermot seems like he can’t be arsed and even Simon Cowell looks like he’s been sleeping in his car. Time to bin it off."
While another commented: "The quality of the performances so far has been dire I am so disappointed #xfactor."

A third remarked: "Ugh this X Factor is boring. I want the dramatic VTs, I want drunk judges slating everyone and then arguing with each other, I want nasty Simon back, and mostly I just want Sharon #XFactor."
"There is a huge disconnect between the judges and the public," another pointed out. "That Armstrong Martins performance was one of the worst-sounding messes the show has ever inflicted on us yet all four judges gave it a standing ovation. Bizarre. #xfactor."
