Rylan delights Gogglebox fans after ‘hilarious’ Channel 4 return with mum

TV personality Rylan Clark has delighted fans by returning to celebrity Gogglebox with his mum Linda.

The hilarious duo appeared on the star-studded edition of the show on Friday night, alongside the likes of singer Rita Ora, Martin and Roman Kemp, and Dragon's Den stars Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones.

And in true Rylan style, the X Factor star had viewers in stitches when a movie impression saw him flying over his sofa.

As the couch critics sat down to watch a segment from Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Rylan entertained the nation as he began making his best spy poses while humming the iconic theme tune behind mum Linda.

And despite a warning from his mum to "watch out for the chair and phone," Rylan ended up hurling himself over the back of his sofa, kicking a cushion which ends up plopping into sauce, as the pair exclaimed, "Oh no!"

Fans were quick to express their appreciation for funny man Rylan and his mum entertaining them with their mishaps once again, with one person saying: “Yay! @Rylan and Linda are back! #Gogglebox."

Another added: “@Rylan just watched Celebrity Gogglebox. Your Mum is brilliant. Can't wait to see more of you both together!"

A third penned: “@Rylan in the background pretending he’s in Mission Impossible #Gogglebox #CelebrityGogglebox."

While a fourth said: “@Rylan #gogglebox #MissionImpossible HILARIOUS."

And Rylan fans are in for another treat, with the presenter set to launch his new TV show with Rob Rinder.

The unlikely duo were recently traveling Italy together as they filmed a new BBC show called Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour.

The programme will see them follow in the footsteps of 19th-century poet Lord Byron as they find out more about Italy's rich culture and mark the 200th anniversary of the poet's death.

The pair travelled to Venice, Florence, and Rome, with Rylan documenting some of the most memorable moments from the trip so far.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter gave fans a giggle as he nicknamed TV judge Rob his "nan" on the trip, teasing him over being 11 years older than him.

And he also revealed that the pair had been having a little too much fun as Rylan's most recent post about the trip appeared to show Rob passed out on the streets of Rome.

Sharing the snap of Rob slumped in front of an ATM machine, Rylan wrote: "In other news, this is how the night ended with @RobbieRinder, like taking your nan out."
