Rita Simons is the latest name linked to this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The line-up for the upcoming series of the ITV reality show is jam-packed with some big names.
And joining the stars reportedly heading Down Under is former EastEnders star Rita.
It’s been two years since her character, Roxy Mitchell, was killed off in dramatic scenes on the BBC soap.
The actress, 42, isn’t the only famous member of her family.
She’s the niece of billionaire businessman and The Apprentice star Lord Alan Sugar.
And now, it looks like she could be trying her hand at reality TV as well, according to The Sun.
It’s said that Rita is hoping her time in the jungle will help her health struggles with ADHD, OCD, anxiety and insomnia.
This year’s series will be hosted by Declan Donnelly and This Morning beauty Holly Willoughby, who is stepping in to replace Ant McPartlin this year.
The other stars said to be setting up home in the camp are The Chase’s Anne Hegarty, football manager Harry Redknapp and Coronation Street star Sair Khan, who were confirmed by the Mirror last month .
The other names ‘confirmed’ are DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, and X Factor’s Fleur East.
The Vamps star James McVey and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer are also said to be on their way to Australia, along with one more top secret surprise arrival.
The Sun also reports that a further two secret stars will be heading into the camp as late arrivals.
It comes after Dec landed in Oz with his wife Ali Astall and their baby daughter Isla.
The family were last spotted at Heathrow airport yesterday as they were laden with luggage for their long family stay in Australia.
ITV say they never confirm which stars are heading into the jungle ahead of the launch date.
