Former Royal Editor of The Sun Duncan Larcombe and political commentator Dominique Samuels joined Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on Monday’s Good Morning Britain to discuss the Queen’s decision to miss the Remembrance Sunday service after Her Majesty sprained her back. Duncan clashed with Dominique as he asserted it was “time” she stood down.
He began: “If she was your grandmother, if she was your mother any of our mothers…”
“I’d want her to look after her back,” the former Shadow Chancellor interjected.
“She’s 95 – you can see perhaps that her body’s not capable now of what she wants to do.
“Sometimes you have to think what would you say to your elderly grandmother?”
