Millionaire fans slam ‘unfair’ game as player stumbles on Tiger King question

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire viewers were quick to slam the show on Sunday night for its choice of questions.

Fans tuning in at home were stunned when contestant Craig Blackburn used up three lifelines on a question about popular Netflix series Tiger King.

Host Jeremy Clarkson asked him what the subject of the documentary was starring Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, but Craig admitted he had never seen it.

He first chose to use his 50/50 lifeline, but when he was left with the two answers American big cat community and Cambridge Analytica data hack, Craig was still unsure.

He then went on to phone a friend – but they were clueless too – which left Craig no choice but to ask Jeremy.

Jeremy confirmed that he had seen the series and confidently told him the correct answer – but viewers at home were stunned that Craig had used three lifelines for the £4,000 question.

"Is this WWTBAM contestant the only man with Netflix who hasn’t heard of Tiger King?" one person tweeted.

Another viewer posted: "Endemol finding the only 2 people in the world who didn't watch Tiger King!?"

A third person commented on how it was an easy question compared to the contestant before Craig.

"The previous guys £4000 question was insanely difficult for it, now this guys question is about the f**king Tiger King. How unfair is this," they tweeted.

Azeem Ali was asked an art-related question for £8,000 but sadly he got it wrong.

The question read: "William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais, and Dante Gabriel Rossetti were principal founders of which art movement?"

The answer was Pre-Raphaelite, but unfortunately Azeem guessed Post-Impressionism – which meant he ended up going home with just £1,000.

Viewers at home were quick to slam the show for asking such a hard question early on.

One person tweeted: "That was a tough question on WWTBAM considering it was only for 8 grand, I'd have expected it more at maybe 125k, but whatever I had no idea of the answer."

Another wrote: "My god, what a horrible question for a low amount," and a third asked: "How is that an £8000 question?"

A fourth person added: "Poor bloke, that was more of a big money question!"
