Michelle Keegan looks glam on her first day back to work filming Sky comedy Brassic

MICHELLE Keegan had a stunning vintage-style makeover as she got back to work on the set of Sky comedy brassic.

The 33-year-old wore a flat cap over her 50s-style curls, a fitted cream coat, black leggings and purple wellies.

She showed off her pearly white smile behind the wheel of a retro red Bedford van beside a man holding a large camera.

When she wasn't shooting, Michelle kept warm in a full-length white trench coat as well as a blue surgical mask.

Yesterday Michelle shared a pic from the Brassic makeup room as she was given her glamorous hairstyle.

The Our Girl actress was in the beauty chair at 7.49am and wrote on Instagram: "And we're back."

Michelle plays ambitious single mum Erin and takes portraying a working class mother very seriously.

Speaking to the PlotTwist podcast, Michelle explained: "I knew she was going to be a really strong female and I wanted her to be an empowering character.

"A lot of the time you see working class mum's portrayed in a dark way or a gloomy way and hard done by but Erin doesn't feel like that.

"She's ambitious, she's the mother hen of the group and I knew that's how I wanted her to be portrayed, in a positive way not a negative way."

Last month Brassic was rocked by a coronavirus scare after one of the team showed symptoms.

The Sun revealed Michelle was tested for the disease, with an insider explaining at the time: "It could be a fortnight before it starts again."

Her behind-the-scenes shot from the set was a far cry from her incredibly luxurious weekend with husband Mark Wright.

The pair slipped off to London's Corinthia hotel and spent the night in the penthouse suite, which costs around £2,600 a night at weekends.

Mark and Michelle drank champagne in their bathroom before heading to the king-size bed on their "date night" in the capital.

She had been at the same hotel the previous weekend, where she posted a picture that caused fans to remark that she has a "Kim Kardashian bum".
