The One Show: Matt Damon discusses his film ‘Stillwater’
On Tuesday’s instalment of BBC’s The One Show, hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas interviewed stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon about their film Air. However, as the duo appeared via video link, viewers noticed the 52-year-old looking slightly different than usual.
Before speaking to the two guests about the film, host Alex thanked them for appearing on The One Show live from LA so early in the morning.
The two men sat side by side as Ben appeared to do the most talking while Matt seemed to be in a slight daze looking away from the camera.
While his co-star spoke about their film, which is a story surrounding sports and the shoe business, Matt appeared to be not fully present during the start of the conversation.

He replied: “It’s the first time you’re aware of, he’s been directing me since we were in high school.”
Ben joked he told Matt they were going for an Easter theme outfit choice for the interview as he pointed out their pastel tops.
Laughing, Matt commented: “He’s directing all the time! But actually, we’ve been doing theatre together since 1986.
“Very old! And writing screenplays together over the years so creative problem-solving is baked into our friendship.
“So this felt like a natural extension of that, it didn’t feel weird at all taking direction from him.”
Speaking more about their friendship before getting famous, Jermaine questioned if Ben was critical of Matt’s performances while they were in school together.
Instantly, Matt replied: “Oh yeah, oh he had notes, he always had notes.”
Laughing at the truth being revealed, Ben told the two hosts their friendship is based on honest criticism.
