Masked Singer fans convinced big clue has ‘revealed’ Jacket Potato as HUGE US rock star | The Sun

MASKED Singer fans believe Jacket Potato is a guitar-slinging American rockstar.

Viewers deducing the clues at home think that former Bon Jovi axeman Richie Sambora is the man behind the mask.

In the eccentric spud's VT, the character had a Romeo and Juliet book, and there is line in the Bon Jovi song Always that says: "This Romeo is bleeding".

There was also a clue that the person was a ‘stadium-filling’ star as well as a nod to the distorted vocals on anthem Livin' On A Prayer.

The clue "my collection will leave you going woah!" could also be a nod to Richie's extensive selection of guitars.

The musician's name is the latest to be thrown into the Jacket Potato mix after EastEnders favourite Shane Richie, 58.

The Masked Singer fans claim Fawn was ‘revealed’ as noughties pop legend

Ex-Corrie star fuels rumours that they are Fawn on The Masked Singer

Those assumptions were based purely on the tone of voice as Potato sang Elvis Presley classic Viva Las Vegas.

Meanwhile Sambora left the Bon Jovi fold in 2013 after three decades in the band.

He said in a 2020 interview: "It wasn’t a popular decision by any means, obviously, but there was really almost no choice about it. I had a lot of conscious work to do around (my personal life).

“We’ve been through a lot of things together. That was a time of psychological maintenance for the family. You know, I ain’t no angel. But I realised, Ava needed me to be around at that point in time. Family had to come first, and that’s what happened.”
