The series sees a panel of experts match individuals based on certain traits before they have even had a chance to meet. has all you need to know about season six of MASFA and how to watch it.

When does MAFSA season 6 start?

Married At First Sight Australia is just one of the editions of the popular coupling-up series, which also boasts versions in the UK and US.

The Australian version of the reality series usually airs on Nine Network, and it is made available for fans in the UK via E4.

The couples matched on the show do not take part in a legal marriage, but they are instead asked to attend an unofficial commitment ceremony.

After spending time together and meeting each other’s families, the couples are then asked whether they would like to continue their relationship.

The series is now on its eighth season, but season six is yet to be shown in the UK.

The sixth season originally aired back in 2019, with all 12 couples getting married in the same week.

Now, fans in the UK will be able to catch up with all the drama as season six will be arriving on E4 in the UK on January 4, 2021.

Viewers may be interested to learn that Married at First Sight Australia took the UK by storm in 2020, as it was the most-watched show on All 4 in the summer.

The UK streaming platforms have promised the sixth instalment will be “even more dramatic and captivating than ever before”.

The series will air on E4 at 7.30pm on January 4, and the episodes will continue to air across the week from Monday to Friday.

Before they agree to stay true to their vows, the men will enjoy a stag night and the ladies will have fun at a hen night.

The couples will then say the all-important ‘I do’ after meeting each other for the first time on their wedding day.

Once the day has sunk in, their relationships will be put to the test as they spend more time together on a luxury honeymoon.

The couples will then move in together, along with their fellow participants, before making the final decision on whether they would like to remain together.

Without giving too much away, there was a scandal between two of the couples after it was discovered one of the ladies had been having a secret relationship with a man, who had been married to someone else.

All the couples met at a number of dinner parties in order to get to know each other, and the men and women were also asked to spent time apart.

Episode one will see Jules and Cameron and Cyrell and Nic tie the knot in Sydney, with episode two following Jessika and Mick and Melissa and Dino.
