Fans and friends were shocked after the news broke about Luke
Perry’s death after having a massive stroke. According to reports, he was
surrounded by loved ones, including his ex-wife, fiancée, and his children.
Perry had a deep love for his children and wanted nothing more than for them to
be taken care of after his passing.
Perry’s will has been revealed, and it indicates he left his entire fortune to his two children, Jack and Sophie, according to Radar Online. Although he was engaged to fiancée Wendy Madison Bauer, it doesn’t appear as if she will receive an inheritance.

Perry had a close relationship with Jack and Sophie (the children
are from his marriage to his former wife, Rachel “Minnie” Sharp). Upon hearing
about her father’s stroke, Sophie immediately rushed to be by her father’s
side. A friend of Perry told DailyMail
the actor had a great amount of love for his children and was proud of
their accomplishments. “Luke was really proud of both his son and his daughter.
[Sophie] was actually in Africa helping children and had to rush home quite
suddenly.”

Shortly after her father’s death, Sophie took to social media to express her gratitude for the love and support she received from the public:
A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, and in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support.
I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them, and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I. I’m not really sure what to say or do in this situation, it’s something you aren’t ever given a lesson on how to handle, especially when it’s all happening in the public eye. So [bear] with me and know that I am grateful for all the love. Just, being grateful quietly.

Before the tragedy, Sophie was participating in charity work for non-profit One World Center, reports Daily Mail. “I’m in a group of eight people, seven of us are going to Africa and one of us is going to Brazil,” Sophie said in a social media post about her work. “We’re going to be there for six months, and we’re going to be working on community development projects. These can range from teaching teachers, building schools, helping with agriculture, providing water purification, all types of good stuff,” said Sophie in her post.
Perry’s son, Jack, is understandably distraught over his father’s passing. Jack reportedly dropped out of a wrestling match in the wake of Perry’s death. The actor was often seen attending his son’s matches.
