Love Island’s Belle says famous dad gave her bedroom advice when he joined villa

Former Love Island star Belle Hassan has opened up about the embarrassing bedroom advise her father gave her while she was in the villa.

Loyal fans of the ITV2 dating show will remember the brunette beauty from her time on the fifth series back in 2019 alongside Molly-May Hague, Tommy Fury, Amber Gill and Maura Higgins.

Throughout her time on the show, the makeup artist fell for Scottish hunk Anton Danyluk when she entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell.

It’s fair to say the hugely popular dating show is known for its explosive drama and steamy snogs which wasn’t missed by her doting dad Tamer Hassan who made sure to point it out when he visited the villa in the final week of the show.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the influencer revealed one of her biggest fears while competition on the show – and it wasn’t taking part in any of the gruelling challenges.

After becoming the latest beauty ambassador of Superdrug, Belle told us how nervous she was when her parents were invited into the Majorcan mansion.

She said: “I did worry because obviously there were kissing challenges, there were kissing scenes and I had kissed him [Anton Danyluk].

“So I was like, ‘Oh my God, my dad’s gonna go sick, he’s gonna have a go at me’ but he was fine.”

But that didn’t stop her famous father from embarrassing her on the show when he passed on some embarrassing words of wisdom about her bedroom antics.

Belle confessed: “He did actually say to me, ‘Just stop stroking his head in bed, just go to sleep, you don’t need to be touching him, just go to sleep’.

“And I was like, ‘Ok! I'll make sure I know for next time’, like he really made sure I knew that. Oh God, I'm getting hot and sweaty just thinking about it because my dad scares me!”

And her protective dad didn’t stop there, with the actor making sure to pull Anton over for a private chat as he entered the villa.

She added: “So when my dad came in the villa, he did have a bit of a word with Anton, basically saying ‘Behave yourself, make sure you look after her’.

Although the couple remained strong throughout their time on the show, the duo decided to go their separate ways just five weeks after the series ended.

It comes after Belle was announced as Superdrug’s new brand ambassador who is fronting a new campaign titled ‘Search for Studio Stars’ which will discover and propel 10 creative talents within the cosmetics industry.

She gushed: “I am so grateful that Superdrug approached me for this campaign, as I think the cosmetics industry needs and deserves some time in the spotlight.

"Makeup artistry has given me so much opportunity, enabled me to work with such an amazing community and given me the confidence to branch out and build my own social brand.

"Yet nobody presented it to me as a viable career path and many times since, I’ve seen it dismissed as a frivolous choice or reduced to a stereotype.

"Together we aim to show that creative cosmetics is a fun, exciting, diverse, rewarding and highly skilled industry, I can’t wait to see the amazing talent our ‘Search for Studio Stars’ campaign finds!”
