Love Island podcast host breaks silence on being replaced by Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack | The Sun

LOVE Island's former podcast host Arielle Free has cleared up why she hasn't returned for the upcoming winter series.

The Scottish DJ has hosted daily breakdown podcast Love Island: The Morning After with season three winner Kem Cetinay for the past three years.

However, for the upcoming series it's been announced that Sam Thompson and last year's participant Indiyah Polack will be taking over.

Despite the sudden axe from the show, representatives for Arielle has insisted there's no bad blood.

The Sun Online was told: "Arielle has a hectic start to 2023 with her DJ and radio work so as sad as she is to not do the podcast, she is not able to commit."

Indiyah and Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson will "come together to spill the tea" on the new Love Island: The Morning After podcast.

The pair will also be on our screens every Sunday alongside new host Maya Jama for Love Island: Aftersun.

Speaking about the new role, Indiyah said: “Not me teaming up with Sam on the Love Island podcast and getting to be a regular panellist on Aftersun.

"I genuinely can't explain how excited I am!! I can't wait to speak to the Islanders and get all the cheeky goss from their friends and families.

"It's gonna be an insane series, I can’t wait!!”
