Love Island Movie Night causes blow as fans ‘work out’ couple who ‘survive’ test

Love Island’s iconic Movie Night saw all the chaos unfold as cracks in couples’ relationships began to show.

ITV2 confirmed that its widely anticipated Movie Night would be back again, as it caused mayhem in the villa when Islanders were shown various clips.

In the segment, contestants watch clips play out for Casey and Tanya as their partner watches anxiously.

Elsewhere, in a sneak peek, Aussie lass Jessie was in floods of tears over farmer Will, and a fuming Samie gave partner Tom a death stare as the Movie Night unfolded.

After the teaser trailer, Love Island fans now think only one couple could come out of the Movie Night unscathed and took to social media to share their thoughts.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Burn all these couples to the ground, please. Kai and Sanam to win at this point.”

“At this rate, Kai and Sanam are the strongest couples in that villa. The rest are so fragile,” a second echoed.

A third added: “Love Island, I hope you have a plan B because the villa mash-up and mash-up bad in shambles. There’ll be no couples after this.”

A fourth penned: “There’s gonna be no couples left to have a Love Island final,” as a fellow fan chimed: “This movie night is gonna break a lot of couples.”

The iconic Movie Night was teased ahead of the show in a first-look clip as Ron received a text message from producers, sending a burst of reactions through the villa.

Ron read aloud: “Islanders, it’s time to get glam hit the red carpet and grab some popcorn as tonight is Movie Night #Blockbuster #ThrillerInTheVilla.”

Following the announcement, a nervous Tanya said: “No,” before Shaq asked: “Is there anything you want to tell me?”

The Islanders were then seen walking down the villa garden red carpet in the clip to sit with their boys' and girls’ teams.

Each side faced a pop quiz of questions to earn the right to pick a clip, with the options for the first film for the girls including Free Will-Y, The Fast and the Curious and No Time To Kai.
