On Friday, Netflix’s hit dating series, Love Is Blind finally returned to screens with the release of the first five episodes from season four. As fans binge-watched part one, many were left cringing at Zack Goytowski and Irina Solomonova’s reveal.
Love Is Blind hosts Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Lachey made their long-awaited return as the season four singles entered the pods.
To find out if love is really blind, the contestants went through multiple rounds of blind dates behind a wall to help them spark a genuine connection.
By episode three, five women had accepted proposals and would finally see the faces of the men they had been talking to.
This included Zack Goytowski and Irina Solomonova, who appeared to hit it off in the pods.
During the episode, Zack made the tough decision to go for Irina after also making a connection with Bliss Poureetezadi.
As he chose to propose to Irina with an original song, Zack told her: “With you, the connection is just fire. I’m just drawn to you.”
However, when the couple met face-to-face it seemed as though the feeling wasn’t reciprocated as Irina completely dodged his kiss.
Viewers also picked up on their awkward reveal and took to social media with their opinions.

An astonished @thom_ahs added: “NOT ZACK ASKING FOR A KISS AND IRINA SHUTTING HIM DOWN OH… yeah she so isn’t attracted to that man it’s bad.”
While @_Lisa_King_ winced: “Watching Zack sing when he proposed was tough. So cringe. I’d have to leave. I can’t.”
Following their engagement, Zack and Irina met the other couples as they continued on their honeymoon in Mexico.
As episodes four and five showed the couple enjoying their getaway, fans also noticed Irina forming a close friendship with Micah Lussier.
This bond has seemingly caused a divide among the women on the show as Irina and Micah often nap under the pink blanket only to wake up and talk about others.
They made fun of the other women crying and discussed how in love with them their men are.
This was seen when Jackelina Bonds was crying on the couch because she was torn between Josh and Marshall, as Irina and Micah gave a knowing look at each other.
