Line of Duty's leading man Adrian Dunbar has dropped a major hint about the future of the show.
The actor, who plays Ted Hastings in the hit BBC police drama, appeared on Monday's edition of Good Morning Britain to talk about Sunday night's cliff hanger.
As the episode came to an end, fans were left wondering if Kate Fleming will make it out alive after an explosive showdown with a fellow cop.
Sitting in the ITV studio for the first time since Covid restrictions started to ease, Adrian refused to give too much away, though did drop some major plot hints.
Adrian said: "The hard core Line of Duty fans already know.
"There has been a very big clue yes."
Teasing Susanna who is a fan of the show, he continued: "I am going you a scoop. I am giving you a massive coop.
"There is a clue out there and Line of Duty fans know."
Inviting she is also a big supporter of the show, he joked with dry humour: "I know you are fan but we have hard core and then there is core.

"You are more core."
Susanna than probed as to if an spelling error in an email which a character sent could be a clue as to their mystery identity.
Admitting show bosses put him on lockdown when it comes to interviews, Adrian continued: "The BBC send me note and they say you cannot talk about this, this and this."
Exhaling how producers also film more shots than needed, he said: "Right at the end they may say 'can you go a look over there and also look over there' as if it could be a cliffhanger ending."
As for the future of Line of Duty, Adrian says he expects there to be another series but kept tightlipped as to if he will be involved.

"I think if there is numbers are good then the BBC will want to," he replied.
Talking about the show during Lorraine later on, host Lorraine Kelly admitted she has a soft spot for Adrian.
As a clip from Sunday night's show played out, she purred: "I've got such a crush on that man.
"We have to wait a while week to see what happens. We won't spoil it."
