Lily James is 'moving to LA to get away from Dominic West kissing scandal' as she focuses on work

LILY James is moving to Hollywood as she escapes the storm clouds brewing over the Dominic West kissing scandal.

The 31-year-old actress is said to be relocating to Los Angeles after her romantic life stole the spotlight in recent months.

Lily found herself in hot water when she was photographed looking loved up with married actor Dominic West, 51, while holidaying in Rome.

The pair were seen kissing and holding hands on the trip, having grown close after filming TV drama The Pursuit of Love together.

Looking to escape the drama, the English rose is putting the incident behind her as she looks to move across the pond for the foreseeable future.

Lily, who is due to play Pamela Anderson in a biopic about the star's life, will be heading to Los Angeles to film.

The movie will also star The Falcon and Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan as American musician Tommy Lee.

While filming won't last forever, there are claims that Lily hopes to start fresh in California to "focus on her career".

The Mail on Sunday reports: "[Lily is] planning to relocate to sunny LA for the foreseeable future to focus on her career and escape the unfair treatment she received after being pictured getting affectionate with married actor West during a trip to Rome."

A source told the publication: "It will be good for Lily to escape some of the unwanted attention she has been receiving in the UK and to concentrate on some juicy roles."

More recently, Lily has been spotted working in London on a rom com film titled What's Love Got To Do With It?

Taking time to relax in between filming, she was spotted getting close to and kissing US rocker Michael Shuman.

Lily appears to have moved on from her Rome fling after falling for the Queens Of The Stone Age bassist, 35.

While quarantining in a Suffolk hotel with the cast and crew of the new film, it's though the rockstar was staying in the same location.

He waved Lily off as she headed onto set, with an onlooker saying that the pair looked loved up and "very happy together".

They told MailOnline: "Lily’s driver turned up just after 9am, then she and Michael emerged from the hotel together a few minutes later.

"They were laughing and joking and looked very happy together."
