KERRY Katona has signed up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, having previously confessed that she doesn't know "how she'd cope" on the "brutal" programme.
The 40-year-old star has already completed trials after landing on the island of Raasay in Scotland.
The mother-of-five previously teased that she would be away filming a TV show for a month – but refused to give further information.
She said at the time: "I'm going to be gone for the whole of October, very excited – you won't see me until next year."
Kerry joins other celebrity contestants including Wes Nelson, Ulrika Jonsson, and Vicky Pattison for Ant Middleton's brutal Channel 4 show, which will see stars pushed to the limits both mentally and physically.
Earlier this year, Kerry defended her friend Katie Price for quitting the gruelling show – claiming that the former glamour model was picked on.
She said in April: "I watched my mate Katie Price on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and they didn’t half pick on her!
"It’s no wonder she left after just two days. To be honest, I’m surprised she lasted that long! It’s brutal, isn’t it?!
"I don’t know how I’d cope in that situation, but I’d love to give it a go."
At the time, Katie told The Sun that her "inflamed boobs" were her reason for throwing in the towel – adding that she'd "pulled something" during filming.
The Sun Online have contacted Kerry's rep for comment.
The military-style test of resilience, won this year by Paralympian triathlete Lauren Steadman and Rudimental DJ Locksmith, saw its celebrity contestants go into isolation before the shoot to ensure that it is Covid-safe.
