Katya Jones treats husband Neil 'like a dogsbody' and definitely won't leave her for cheating, friends claim

CHEATING Strictly star Katya Jones’ husband accepts her wayward behaviour because she “treats him like a dogsbody” in their relationship, friends of the couple have claimed.

Their five year marriage was thrown into doubt last week when she was pictured snogging her celebrity dance partner Seann Walsh outside a pub – prompting his girlfriend to ditch him.

But Katya claimed the “one-off” incident was not representative of her own marriage, and in a statement insisted she and fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones still love each other.

Friends say there is no chance of him leaving his sexy Russian wife after years of accepting her pushiness in what those close to them labelled an “odd relationship”.

One pal said: “She bosses him around and treats him like a dogsbody. She totally wears the trousers.

“It’s a very odd relationship. A lot of us feel quite sorry for him, but she’s called the shots for so long there’s no way he will break up with her.

“He thinks he has too much to lose by splitting up, but so many times we’ve been out together and he’s had to go home earlier because she won’t let him stay out without her.

“He’s put on a brave face but inside he will be dying over all of this.”

And former show judge Arlene Phillips even said that many professional dancers have open relationships – hinting there could be more to the couple’s relationship than meets the eye.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine yesterday morning, she said: ““We all love Neil and Katya, there is a togetherness. In truth who knows what their relationship is like?

“I know many people who have open relationships and we know nothing about Seann’s relationship with his girlfriend.”

Even Neil’s mum played down the incident on Twitter, writing: “I don’t condone what happened between Seann and Katya, it was wrong.
