JEREMEY Kyle Show guest Michelle Wallace celebrates three years sober from drugs today.
Former show psychotherapist Graham Stanier congratulated the mum as she heaped praise on The Jeremy Kyle Show for changing her life.
Gramham posted a moving statement written by Michelle on Instagram, alongside photos of her before and after her transformation.
It read: “This time three years ago was when the Jeremy Kyle team came to my flat in Walsall to do a recording of me in my flat. I was so frightened I didn't know what to expect, I had hit rock bottom, my flat windows were smashed through, it also looked like a crack den and my drug use was so out of control.
“I had given up on life, I just wanted to die. I didn't want to live anymore, I couldn't live the life I was living anymore, so I'm so blessed that my beautiful princess emailed the show as she knew her mum was in there somewhere. I just needed help, but I didn't know where to turn.
“So I was on the way to the Manchester hotel, so scared, but wanting this so much. I knew everyone would see my show and I didn't care as that's my story from the start of my journey to going to rehab on the 15/11/18, to what I've achieved today, is amazing.
“I have no obsession to use anymore. I'm so at peace and free. I'm living life today, I couldn't be anymore happier with what I have in my life today, having my family back."
Ex-prostitute Michelle, who first appeared on the now-axed ITV show in 2018, was addicted to heroin for over 20 years.
Once emaciated with sunken cheeks and a jutting out collar bone, Michelle now looks happy, healthy and decades younger.
Her once dark and greasy hair which she previously wore scraped back has now been highlighted and cut into a feathered long bob.
Michelle is all smiles in the new pictures, and said she is loving life with her family and is planning to get married next year.
She continued: “I'm a mum, nan, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and it's all thanks to me finding a solution and using the tools that's put in front of me. I'm also coming up to three years clean on 1/12/21 I ain't took a drink or drug since, we can recover.
“I've got so much to look forward to as I'm getting married next April to the man of my dreams.
“Thank you to everyone that believed in me. I put my hands up today for all the wrongs and people I’ve hurt but I make amends today. I look at my part, not blaming people, cause I was so good at that, but I will never close the door on my past that's what made me the woman I am today.”
People rushed to congratulate Michelle on her amazing achievments, with one writing back: "Congratulations! You have done absolutely amazing. All thanks to JK and his team 👏👏👏"
Another person shared: "Remember watching this, What a inspiration this lady is ❤️ wish Jeremy was back on tv he helped so many people x"
