Inside Jamie Lee Curtis' daughter Ruby's cosplay-themed wedding featuring rainbow tent and wild costumes

JAMIE Lee Curtis' daughter, Ruby, has married her partner in a cosplay-themed wedding.

The 65-year-old shared photos of the weekend event.

Jamie's daughter, Ruby, is transgender.

She was born a male and her name was Tom.

Jamie's daughter came out as transgender in 2020.

Now, however, Ruby, a YouTube video editor, is happier than ever living life with her new partner, Kynthia.

The couple got married on May 29, 2022, after being engaged for a few years.

Kynthia was the first person Ruby, 26, told that she was transgender and she stuck by her side through it all.

The wedding was cosplay themed and everyone wore a costume, including Jamie Lee.

There was also a huge rainbow tent filled with balloons.

Not only was Jamie Lee the mother of the bride, but she also took on the role of officiant.

The 63-year-old shared a few photos on her Instagram of the happy couple.

The first photo she posted was of her and the couple in their costumes.

"WIFE IS SWEET! Ruby and Kynthia. 5/29/2022," she captioned the photo.

Jamie Lee dressed up as World of Warcraft's Jaina Proudmoore.

The couple as well as the guests were encouraged to dress up as someone from that universe.

She shared another photo of the couple after they were officially married.

Ruby and Kynthia embraced and were about to kiss as the guests behind them cheered.

"YES THEY DO AND DID! MARRIED! RUBY and KYNTHIA 5/29/2022," the Halloween actress captioned the post.

The wedding took place in Jamie Lee's backyard.

Jamie Lee lives with her husband, Christopher Guest, in their Hollywood Hills home.

For the wedding, it was transformed into a cosplay dream and a rainbow tent.

In a third post made by Jamie, she wore a shirt that read, "Wife is sweet" with a photo of her daughter and her wife drawn as a cartoon and hugging.

It had their names and wedding date underneath the picture.

Standing in a rainbow tent complete with balloons and streamers, the actress had to mention one of her most famous roles- Halloween.

The Hollywood Hills home was transformed into a Halloween Kills backyard as Jamie Lee posed with the cake knives with her other hand on her hip.

"YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP! The ONLY thing left over at the end of this entire BEAUTIFUL wedding after everything was taken away was this f-ing BUTCHER KNIFE they cut the tiramisu wedding cake with! WIFE IS SWEET! @halloweenmovie 10/14/22 @cafeugo @shophappytimes," she captioned the post.

In the next photo of the post, the knife was sat next to a rainbow sign that read, "Restroom," sitting on a table.

Since Ruby revealed to her parents that she is transgender, Jamie Lee and Christopher have been nothing but supportive.

Jamie opened up about Ruby's transition – with Ruby's permission – in an interview with AARP Magazine.

Ruby is one of two children adopted by Jamie and Christopher.

The couple is also parents to daughter Annie, 35, who is a dance instructor.

Jamie said Ruby's transition helped her banish the "old idea" that gender is fixed and embrace the concept that her life is a “constant metamorphosis.”

The Knives Out star and director Christopher don't have grandchildren yet, but Jamie admitted she "does hope" they will sometime soon.

It took a while for Jamie Lee and her husband to "Learn new terminology and words," but they were determined to put in the work.

Congrats to the happy couple!
