I’m A Celebrity – Holly Willoughby will fly entire family Down Under

Holly Willoughby says she is bringing “team family” with her Down Under to ensure her stint on I’m A Celebrity is a success.

She is co-hosting the ITV series with Declan Donnelly as Ant McPartlin recovers from drink and drug addiction.

The This Morning star said: “My whole focus has been working out the family logistics. The kids are coming out so we’ve had to organise tutors.

“My mum and dad are joining us and my husband Dan will fly back and forth.”

For the first week of her stay on the Gold Coast, Holly will probably remain on her own and concentrate on swotting up on contestants while working on gags with Dec.

Her family will then join her when she is more relaxed and accustomed to the 2am alarm calls and 7am live shows.

Holly has been given Ant’s blessing and his top show tips.

She said: “It was a job I never wanted because no one ever wanted Dec without Ant.

“We grew up in this business together, we live near each other. Our families are friends.

“I felt honoured Dec trusted me to do it as it’s such a huge deal to work with someone else.

"I told Ant I’d look after his show for him, as well as Dec.”

Bosses have finalised the line-up and the Mirror understands celebs include X Factor finalist Fleur East, the BBC’s Nick Knowles, Hollyoaks star Malique Thompson-Dwyer, The Chase’s Anne Hegerty, ex-Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, Corrie’s Sair Khan, Inbetweeners star Emily Atack and James McVey of The Vamps.

I’m A Celebrity kicks off in eight days’ time on Sunday, November 18, and contestants are expected to start landing in Brisbane this weekend.
