EASTENDERS stunner Jessica Plummer says she has packed four bikinis for the freezing cold castle shower – but says she hopes no one will see her strip off.
The jungle waterfall scenes have become an iconic part of the ITV series after Myleene Klass made it famous in 2006.
But the switch to North Wales has left the glamorous 28-year-old dreading washing time.
She said: “She [Myleene] has an incredible body and don’t get me wrong if you’ve got it, flaunt it, do your thing.
“I definitely hope that the shower is not completely out there just because the weather is just going to be too cold for that. I hope that no one has to be completely butt-naked in Wales to be honest with you.
“The only thing we’re allowed to bring into camp is four sets of underwear and four sets of swimwear to wash in.
“I don’t know what the showering situation will be. Obviously in Australia they had the waterfall and the lake so they could just get in. I don’t know if we’ll have any of those.
“Even little things like drying your underwear. In Australia, that would take a couple of hours if that. But in Wales, I don’t know. It’s going to be interesting.”
Jessica, whose EastEnders character Chantelle Atkins was murdered earlier this year, says the hardest thing about taking part in the legendary show is leaving her daughter Noa, four.
But after splitting from her daughter’s dad earlier this year, she says she is not looking for a castle romance.
She said: “No, no. I am very happy with my life as it is at the moment. I think I’m concentrating on my career and being a mom to Noa. That’s definitely not where my head is at, but good luck to anyone that does have that agenda. Nothing wrong with it.”
Jessica joined EastEnders last year as hairdresser Chantelle, and became a fan favourite.
She was involved in a harrowing year-long domestic abuse plot which ended with her murder at the hands of husband Gray.
Producers hoped the storyline would show the devastating domestic impact of the Covid pandemic.
It is also expected to land Jessica with a string of acting awards.
She was previously a member of British girl group Neon Jungle, who had a top 10 album.
Their second single Braveheart peaked at No4 in 2014.
