Home and Away Rob Mallett’s life – Les Mis fame, hot girlfriend and corset snaps

Rob Mallett plays the role of heartthrob Bob Forsyth in the hit Australian soap opera Home and Away.

The hunky actor was born in Tasmania and discovered his love for performing when he started out Irish dancing.

In the hit Aussie soap, Bob first appeared last Januaury (2022) and has recently made a comeback after his old band Lyrik started to grow in popularity following his exit.

The band, which comprises of Theo (Matt Evans) and Kirby (Angelina Thomson), nail an interview on the radio and celebrate the fact it was played on air before they get interrupted.

Kirby’s ex, and Lyrik’s former lead singer, Bob is back and interrupts the band's big moment.

Complimenting Kirby in front of Theo, Bob gets some alone time with Kirby where he tries to slate her new beau.

But away from Summer Bay, Rob leads a very fabulous life.

Les Misérables fame and stage stints

Rob isn't just a big hit on-screen, he's also a pretty deal on the stage too, with the chiselled star popping up in various productions.

The hunky Home and Away star was cast in the Australian tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed production of Les Misérables, with him taking on the iconic role of Marius.

In a video of the production posted onto YouTube, fans flocked to the comments to praise Rob's portrayal of Marius.

"This Marius has a bit of fire to him that I don't really see in other performances. I kinda like it," penned one.

While another said: "Marius is a pop vocal. Better."

And a third added: "Finally a Cosette and Marius who's voices don't clash."

Les Mis isn't his only stage stint, because in 2016 he joined Singin' in the Rain which continued into 2017 for the Tokyo production.

Unrecognisable corset snaps

Taking on the role of Brad Majors in the Australian tour of Richard O’Briens The Rocky Horror Show, Rob looked unrecognisable when he got into character for a social media snap.

Donning a lime green corset and a string of pearls, Rob showed off his toned legs in some fishnet stockings with suspender belts.

Taking to Instagram at the time to share the unrecognisable snap, Rob penned: "The Rocky Horror Show has been great for so many reasons not the least of which is working with @imogenvmoore."

Looking totally unrecognisable in the snap, fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.

"You’re in your peak form here," penned one.

While another said: "The pins on that one."

Stunning girlfriend

When he's not setting pulses racing in Summer Bay, Rob is happily loved up with his long-time girlfriend Chloe Zuel.

On Chloe's website, she explains how she is an Aussie performer, pilates instructor, avid traveller and "healthy living nut".

Just like her hunky beau, Chloe is into performing and has a glowing career of her own.

Recently she has been performing as Catherine of Aragon in SIX! The Musical in Australia, as well as the Aussie production of Hamilton as Eliza Hamilton.

Rob has been with Chloe for many years, with the first snap of them together appearing on his Instagram in 2014.

The loved up couple got engaged in September 2018, with Rob sharing the most adorable snap of the pair on a lavish beach.

Rob often shares snaps of him with his girlfriend, which always leaves fans swooning over their sweet bond and relationship.
