Holly Willoughby reveals festive must-haves in Marks and Spencer Christmas ad

The Marks and Spencer Christmas advert has landed!

The department store’s festive offering for 2018 is officially here – and it includes a star-studded line-up.

The follow-up to last year’s Paddington-themed ad is just as magical thanks to Holly Willoughby .

The M&S ad sees the I’m A Celeb presenter getting her home ready for the festive season and crawling on the floor to climb underneath her Christmas tree to plug the lights in.

Providing a voiceover for the 59-second advert, Holly asks: "What makes Christmas, Christmas?"

The ad, which features Tom Jones’ Give A Little Love, goes on to tell the stories of different people as they try to fit in sleep around all the Christmas parties they’re attending and impress the in-laws by cooking up a stunning Yuletide dinner and washing the dishes in record time.

Other Christmas traditions are put in the limelight too, such as watching Bridget Jones’ Diary, swapping presents and lazing around in your Pjs.

The ad ends with Holly sat at a bus stop in between a woman dressed as a nurse, possibly heading in for the night shift, and a panto-style Chritmas fairy, who leans in to Holly and says: "Love that coat."

"M&S," Holly whispers back, sharing her style secrets.

Brand ambassador Holly was spotted filming the annual advertisement last month at a bus stop in London.

The This Morning host looked as stunning as ever in a leopard print skirt, pale pink jumper and a statement purple coat.

The ad will go head-to-head against that of fellow retail John Lewis.

A source recently told the Mail On Sunday : "The competition between Marks & Spencer and John Lewis has become huge now.

"Both are doing everything they can to outdo the other."
