Game of Thrones has turned its stars into household names, with many going on to land other huge roles in TV and film.
Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner were all relatively unknown until the fantasy show became a huge hit, but they're now big stars – and their pay packets reflect that.
The main characters take away huge, huge sums for each episode they film, but some earn considerably more than others.
According to the Hollywood Reporter , the five best paid stars were all on the same salary – an eye-watering £938,200 ($1.2 million) per episode. This means that they took home £5.6 million for the final series.
The figures also show there was no gender gap in the top levels.
Here's a breakdown of the stats:
Kit Harington (Jon Snow) – £938,200 per episode
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) – £938,200 per episode
Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) – £938,200 per episode
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) – £938,200 per episode
Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) – £938,200 per episode
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) – £158,000 per episode
Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) – £158,000 per episode
According to Emilia, the cast made sure they were all paid the same.
She told Vanity Fair: "I get f*cking paid the same as my guy friends. We made sure of that."
And Sophie, who was just 13 when she started filming, isn't worried about earning considerably less than her on-screen brother.
Speaking earlier this year she said: "Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline.
"For the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots and I didn’t have that many. I was like, ‘You keep that money’."
