GAME of Thrones star Lena Heady has revealed that season 8 will "surprise at every turn".
Fans of the HBO fantasy epic have been left in the dark about what will happen in the final series, but Lena – who plays Cersei Lannister – has hinted they're in for a treat.
"I think people will be surprised at every turn this season,” she told EW during an interview for her new film Fighting with My Family.
She also revealed that she has fantasised about Cersei's death.
"I had many fantasies about how Cersei would – if she were to – die," she admitted.
"But I think it was, every year, anyone’s lying if they say they didn’t kind of rush to the end of each script and go, 'Oh, phew!'"
The actor was careful not to give away any plot details but revealed she once let a spoiler slip to a friend on a drunken night out and the next day "hunted them down and made them sign in blood not to say anything".
Lena's character is bound to have a big part to play in the next series and there is even a fan theory that Cersei could be forced to sacrifice her baby to save Westeros from the White Walkers.
The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms is pregnant and hinted that her brother Jaime is the father.
But fans of the HBO show suspect that Cersei's baby might be the only thing that will stop the Night King and his army of undead from killing everyone
The fan theory on a Reddit forum was sparked by the fact that White Walkers accept young babies as sacrifices.
Wildling Craster (Robert Pugh) handed over his newborn sons to them way back in season two.
So Cersei could, in theory, sacrifice her child to the Night King in the hope that he will return to the frozen north and leave the south in peace.
The twist would see one of the show's darkest villains save the day.
But Cersei's self-centred nature could mean that the sacrifice is just a bargaining chip to gain unlimited power.
Headey recently revealed her "love" for Cersei after filming her final scenes and hinted that she won't let go of control.

"We’ve seen [these characters] over such a long period of time, and with the subtleties of men’s weaknesses being exposed throughout, these women have risen over the course of this series," she said.
"I really, genuinely love Cersei and you just have to admire a survivor like that. She absolutely refuses to let go."
The final season of Game of Thrones will air on Sky Atlantic from 14 April.
