The star would not be the first past contestant to re-enter the villa after failing to find love, as Adam Collard returned to the show, four years after he first took part.

The 27-year-old, caused chaos in Love Island's 2018 series before he left with Zara McDermott.

However, he opted to return to the Mallorca villa after he split with the personality, who is now happily in a relationship with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

At the time, Adam said: “I’m going to ruffle feathers when I go in.”

The 2022 instalment saw the first time an Islander has ever returned to the main show as a contestant.
