Emmerdale’s Harriet in danger as Malone’s body set to be discovered by newcomer

Malone's death looks set to be exposed on Emmerdale soon as his grave will be 'disturbed'.

Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) had successfully covered up the DI's death back in August, as they put his body in a newly dug grave.

Spoilers have revealed that soon Harriet will find out Malone's grave is close to being uncovered.

Viewers will see the vicar visit Malone's grave and it's apparent that she's struggling to move on.

Charles, a vicar, arrives looking for Harriet, who is still terrified the body will be discovered.

She's stunned to discover that, because their parishes are merging, they'll be working together for the foreseeable future.

At the Home Farm Grounds, fans will see Harriet ring in the new year alone with her restless thoughts at Malone's grave.

The next day, Harriet struggles to mask her rising alarm as Charles carefully reveals that he thinks a grave has been disturbed.

Is Malone's murder about to be uncovered?

Last week, Harriet met a lady named Jean in the graveyard, and she revealed she's the daughter of someone who's been buried there.

Finch soon realised Jean's father is in the same plot as Malone.

Jean told her she wants to exhume her dad's body from the ground, and Harriet struggled to convince the new character to not to go through with it.

Harriet told Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) about her concerns, and they decided they should tell Dawn.

They realised they would have to dig up Malone's body and move it away from the graveyard.

Viewers will have to wait and see if DI Malone's dead body is uncovered.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV.
