Emmerdale viewers have watched Jacob Gallagher’s feelings grow for his teacher Maya Stepney over the last few weeks – but it looks like he’s going to take his crush a step too far.
David’s son is set to make a move on Maya in shocking scenes.

She is left even more miserable when Jacob tells her that David will be late for her birthday meal because he is with Tracy.
When he finally turns up, Maya confronts David and and Jacob hits out at his dad for letting her down.
Later, Jacob is secretly ecstatic that Maya is not impressed with David’s attempts to make it up to her but is happy when Jacob gives her a thoughtful gift.
Maya pours him a glass of champagne to celebrate – but could Jacob badly read the situation?
