The start of a new week brings with it all the drama you could possibly crave in soap world, as Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) decision to turn himself in to the police spreads in EastEnders, while Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) meets with the police in regards to Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) in Coronation Street.
In Emmerdale, Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) musters up the courage to tell Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) how he feels about her, while Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) continues to scheme in Hollyoaks.
Phil deals with the police in EastEnders
Phil awakes in a police cell, as Ben discovers that he’s handed himself in. Phil prepares to confess to everything, and Richie soon arrives — hoping to save the day.
Yasmeen fears the worst in Coronation Street
Yasmeen picks up her case and prepares to leave. After doing so, she tells Alya she was right and that she’s coming to the wedding — that is, until she sees a series from messages from Geoff which imply he might take his own life. When she returns to the house all she can find is a smashed picture frame with drops of blood on it.
Malone takes revenge in Emmerdale
Malone is fuming when the police discover his 4×4 smoldering in a field, as this could lead to him being found out. He takes his anger out on Billy, and when he learns that Cain and Billy were keeping the 4×4 against him as leverage, Billy soon finds himself being set up when he is arrested for assault. Malone proceeds to tell him that one of his pals took a beating and is under instruction to tell the police that Billy was the culprit.
Felix blackmails Walter in Hollyoaks
With Felix having been unable to get through to Mitchell, it soon comes to light that he has something over Walter and proceeds to blackmail him into helping him build a relationship with his son.
Linda and Mick’s secret is revealed in EastEnders
An estate agent values The Queen Vic and Linda feels awful as Mick looks deflated. They agree to wait before telling Shirley and Tina about their plan to sell up but news travels fast and they’re caught out as a result.
Gemma makes a big mistake in Coronation Street
Gemma boards the bus with her babies but she’s suddenly overcome with anxiety and worries off there vehicle — leaving her babies behind. Chesney witnesses the whole thing, and manages to rescue his children, but he’s worried about Gemma’s state of mind and thus calls Bernie.
Bob comes clean to Wendy in Emmerdale
Mandy encourages Bob to be honest with Wendy in regards to how he really feels but a passer-by stealing Wendy’s handbag ultimately prevents him from doing so. Later, he comforts Wendy, and seemingly series the opportunity as he reveals his feelings.
Conflict ensues for Warren and Felix again in Hollyoaks
Warren orders Felix to leave the village once and for all, but Felix refuses to do so, and the animosity bubbles, until Grace intervenes.
Karen is shocked by Mitch’s admission in EastEnders
Karen mentions moving out of Walford and Billy is upset, but when Mitch suggests that he and Bailey move with her, she’s left touched. However, he makes a shocking admission.
Oliver starts fitting in Coronation Street
Emma tells Seb she’s moving back in so he will have to move out, but he refuses and this riles Emma. Steve witnesses the pair argue, and persuades Summer to look after Oliver as he heads over. After calming Emma down, he returns home to be met by a panicky Summer who informs him that Oliver suddenly started fitting. Steve scoops up his son and dashes out.
