Just three days later Jess posted a birthday tribute to him on Instagram.
Alongside loved-up snaps of them kissing, pictured, she wrote: “Happy birthday my love! You are love and light in everyone’s life, specially mine! Love you so so much.”
It emerged dad-of-two David was dating Jess back in January 2015 following his divorce from wife of 22 years Cathy.
Raya is an app used for dating by celebs. Amir Khan, Olly Murs and Lewis Hamilton have been on it.
David, who released his album 7 in September, is expected to head to the US this week following a series of performances in Dubai and Europe.
Now he will have to face the music.

Rob's spin on Vegas
ROBBIE Williams has missed a series of X Factor shows due to concerts in the US, and will be heading Stateside again next year.
He has penned a deal with the Wynn Las Vegas for a string of six huge gigs at the resort and casino next March. Speaking about the news, he said: “I’m beyond excited to announce my first ever residency in Las Vegas.
“To follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest entertainers of all time is a dream come true – I can’t wait.”
He welcomed his third child, daughter Coco, with his wife Ayda Field two months ago.
At least being in Vegas gives him a good excuse for not changing her nappies.
SADE has released a new song titled The Big Unknown, along with a lyric video for Steve McQueen’s Widows movie. The track features in its final scene. Last March’s Flower Of the Universe was Sade’s first new tune in eight years.
Vic's jive girl
VICTORIA Beckham may not be joining the Spice Girls reunion tour – but she will be dancing along in the crowd.
The designer, who won the Fashion Icon gong at Sunday’s People’s Choice Awards, was quizzed on if she would see her former band mates live. She said: “Absolutely. I am very, very excited for them.”
And Posh Spice referenced her time with the group in her acceptance speech.
She joked: “I do apologise for reading off of cards, but I hung up my microphone some time ago, and I get a little scared when I get on stage and I see a mic.”
Rita given a blank Kard
RITA Ora might be feeling a little blue after the People’s Choice Awards – and I’m not just talking about her dress.
The Versace-clad singer was blanked by the Kardashians at the LA bash, also attended by singer Gwen Stefani, pictured, on Sunday.
The family refused to applaud Rita’s rendition of Let You Love Me, even though it’s been six years since she split from Rob Kardashian.
Kim K later took to the stage with mum Kris Jenner and sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kendall, to accept the Reality Show of 2018 award, presented by Chrissy Teigen. At least the Kardashians didn’t have any bad blood with her.
CIRQUE Du Soleil is launching a show inspired by the Avatar films. Toruk will use puppetry, performers and hi-tech effects when it debuts at Manchester Arena June 20-23, ahead of a run at London’s O2 Arena June 26-30.
We've got a little world of our Arn
BRIAN McFadden might have swerved next year’s Westlife reunion but it has not done his career any harm.
The singer has a new fan in the shape of Hollywood hardman Arnold Schwarzenegger, who saw his show last week in London’s Canary Wharf with no clue who Brian was.
The Terminator star, pictured, enjoyed the performance so much he told Brian’s manager: “I like this kid, he’ll go far.”
Arnie watched the gig with pal Nancy Dell’Olio and the pair sat with friends in the front row cheering along to the performance.
Brian, also pictured, has been busy working on his solo career with tour dates in Dubai, South Africa and Australia on the horizon and an appearance on ITV’s Dancing On Ice next year to squeeze in.
With Arnie on board, he might be able to add a Hollywood role to that list.
Net Adele for win
The singer, who won the contest for Israel in May with anthem Toy, says Adele is our only hope of taking home the trophy in 2019 after our act SuRIE finished 24th out of 26 this year.
Admitting she’s unsure why the UK performs so badly, Netta, who plays London’s Heaven on November 21, said: “I think Adele would be absolutely amazing. If she will agree to go, that’s my one. I adore her so much.”
Adele knows who to ring if she needs a support act.
They will play at London’s Victoria Park alongside First Aid Kit and Mac DeMarco, with Chemical Brothers headlining the opening night on Friday, May 24.
BRUNO Mars is celebrating the end of his mammoth 24k Magic world tour by paying for 24,000 Thanksgiving meals for people in need in his home state of Hawaii. The generous Uptown Funk singer performs the final show of his 200-date tour at Honolulu’s Aloha Stadium on Sunday.
CHERYL is on course to score this week’s highest new entry with Love Made Me Do It at No8 in the Official Charts update. Ariana Grande’s hit Thank U, Next is on course for a second week at No1 though – 20,000 combined sales ahead of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's Shallow at No2.
DIDO returns with her first new album in five years, Still On My Mind, on March 8. The singer has also announced her first tour in 15 years where she’ll play songs from the new album alongside her classic megahits such as Thank You and White Flag. The UK leg of her 27-date run starts in Glasgow on May 26.
