Crude Peppa Pig YouTube videos slammed as Mummy Pig is branded a ‘sh**e sh*g’

Sweary versions of Peppa Pig on YouTube have been slammed by parents and children’s campaigners.

Voiceovers dubbed on the kids’ TV favourite are littered with swearing, crude sexual slurs and threats of violence towards Peppa and little brother George.

In one video, with more than 1.8million views, Daddy Pig tells Peppa and George: “You c***s are doing my head in,” and labels Mummy Pig “a sh**e sh*g”.

Others clips portray George as a Kalashnikov-toting Russian.

Stand-up comic Rory Lowe, 30, is behind many of the X-rated clips on the video-sharing site.

Mum Georgina Cracknell, of Cambridge, blasted: “This is why I won’t let my son on YouTube.”

Dad Matt Glass, from London, said: “That stuff is mad. Comes up all the time when my kids are watching on the iPad.”

Nick Sales of Save The Kids, which aims to protect children from the perils of social media, said: “Parents will walk by kids watching on their iPad and say, ‘They are just watching Peppa Pig,’ but it’s a knock-off version.”

A YouTube spokesman said children under 13 should use the YouTube Kids version and urged the use of parental controls.

It's not the first time that videos of Peppa Pig swearing have emerged online, with countless TikToks and YouTube videos sharing scenes online.

The swearing videos don't occur on the official channel for Peppa Pig on YouTube, which has 30.6million subscribers and 2,800 videos uploaded to the site.
