Corrie’s Sarah ‘doomed’ as baby dad identity ‘confirmed’ after Stephen twist

Coronation Street viewers are convinced Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Barlow) will be blackmailed by her serial killer uncle Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).

She was left gobsmacked during Friday's (July 28) episode as she learned that husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) was revealed as the father of her unborn child.

As Adam went to celebrate the news, Sarah learned that Stephen altered the documents after stealing the original letter confirming the paternity results.

Stephen told his niece that he did it to stop her family "exploding" but fans of the ITV1 soap are convinced he has an ulterior motive.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Has Stephen just made a copy of the letter on a f**king photocopier. This gets increasingly more ridiculous."

Another added: "You know Stephen is going to blackmail Sarah at some point because he changed the results to show Adam as the Dad. So dull."

A third person said: "Slimy Stephen ( who should have been killed off months ago) will soon blackmail Sarah in return for keeping her dirty little secret."

While a fourth social media user wrote: "Hmmm, I wonder if #Steven will intercept the letter, offer to forge a copy that says #Adam is the Dad. Then use the original to Blackmail Yo-yo pants #Sarah into giving up her shares in Underworld."

"Stevo will probably blackmail Sarah at some point for her shares in the factory or whatever she has #corrie," another agreed.

"Sarah is doomed," said someone else.

Sarah cheated on Adam with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) earlier this year and was worried he could be the father of her child.

Stephen has caused chaos ever since he returned to Weatherfield last year.

He has so far murdered Teddy Thompkins(Grant Burgin) , Lee Thompkins (Joe Frost) and Rufus Donahue (Owain Hughes).

The dodgy businessman is determined to get his hands on Underworld but will he put Sarah in danger to get what he wants?

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm
