Corrie Geoff's rage, EastEnders parentage shock and 13 more soap spoilers

The tension continues to rise in the land of soap, as Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) manages to leave Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) seething in Coronation Street.

Meanwhile, EastEnders stars Lorraine Stanley, Zack Morris and Maisie Smith join Stacey Dooley for Secrets From The Square, and viewers can re-live the iconic 2014 Boxing Day instalment, which sees the Carter clan struggle to come to terms with Shirley Carter’s (Linda Henry) explosive revelation.

Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) discovers the truth about Harriet Finch’s (Katherine Dow Blyton) affair with DI Malone (Mark Womack) in Emmerdale and makes a huge decision as a result, while Hollyoaks goes back in time to revisit Becca Dean (Ali Bastian) and Justin Burton’s (Chris Fountain) affair in [email protected]

Coronation Street

1. Sally suggests Alya should go ahead and buy Geoff out in regards to Speed Daal, and offers her the wedding money to do so — arguing that it’s rightfully Yasmeen’s money.

2. When Geoff refuses to let Alya buy him out she delights in telling him that Sally was giving her the money which he gave them for the wedding — and it’s safe to say that Geoff is seething. 

3. Having previously been goaded by Adam, Gary asks Sarah exactly what she told him. Sarah reveals she told him nothing but Adam is convinced she is still in love with Gary. There is a charged moment between the two — but what will transpire?

4. Tim is furious when he learns Sally offered the wedding money to Alya, but she assures him that they can still afford a wedding.

5. Chesney ends up intruding on Gemma’s vlog while shirtless, but once he learns she’s been live-streaming, he fears that he’ll become a laughing stock.


6. Secrets From The Square: Lorraine Stanley, Zack Morris and Maisie Smith — aka Karen Taylor, Keegan and Tiffany Butcher-Baker — will join Stacey Dooley to reminisce about their greatest moments on the soap thus far, all the while previewing what’s to come in the future.

7. Iconic episode: The aftermath of Shirley’s revelation from Boxing Day, 2014. In spite of Mick believing Shirley to have been his sister, she was, in fact, his mum — which meant that Dean was his brother. The episode sees life for the Carters continue to explode, as the clan in question struggle to process the information they’re just learned.

8. 2008: The next four episodes from the year in question. Christian warns Roxy she won’t be able to keep her secret from Sean, and Jean helps Sean make a decision.


9. A desperate Jamie then begs her to give him a chance to explain his version of events, and ultimately she agrees. He reveals that Andrea’s been blackmailing him, and as he proceeds to open up, he ultimates comes clean — confirming that he was driving the car that hit Moira.

10. Dawn discovers that Harriet has been having affair with Malone. Devastated, the young woman threatens to tell her dad all about the romance — that is, unless Harriet comes clean first.

11. Dawn makes a huge decision, and later arrives at the police station. While there, she informs PC Swirling that she wants to launch a report against a senior policeman!

12. Leyla is cornered by a mystery assailant in Take A Vow


13. The third week of [email protected]— which covers the years of 2006-2010 — will focus on Becca Dean and Justin Burton’s affair, and will be presented by Jessica Fox and Amy Conachan.

14. It’s 2006 and teacher, Becca is pregnant. At school, she confides in potential father, Justin that she’s bleeding after a student bumps into her. Justin takes Becca to the hospital, but dressed in his school uniform, the nurse mistakes him for her little brother.

15. Jake demands to know who Becca has been sleeping with and she reveals that it’s Justin. Everyone finds out that Becca and Justin have been sleeping together, but Justin pleads that they love each other.
