Coronation Street: Carla Connor fires Stephen Reid
Coronation Street murderer Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) has been getting close to Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) in recent weeks on the ITV soap.
Todd who plays Stephen has teased that his relationship with her could be the beginning of the end for his evil character.
He revealed Stephen is thrilled to have another chance with Jenny following a string of failed romances, but fears it could all end in tears.
When asked about what his romance with Jenny could mean for Stephen, Todd explained: “Stephen’s love for intelligent and sassy women could be his downfall.
“He likes women like that, Gabrielle had sass and intelligence but Jenny has the added element of being great fun, whereas Gabrielle wasn’t a whole lot of laughs.”
