Coronation Street star Beverley Callard reveals surprising new career after quitting soap | The Sun

CORONATION Street legend Beverley Callard has kick-started her fitness career second time around with a series of new exercise classes.

The Liz McDonald legend, 65, recently moved from Manchester to Norfolk and has returned to her roots as a gym instructor.

In June we revealed how Bev was doing a U-Turn from her acting career as she recruited a team of 25 female clients to join her.

Now she has taken the lead in the jam-packed class, with new images on the star's Instagram showing her in full flow.

Bev captured her clients sitting on yoga mats as they listened to her theory and fitness method.

Then, wearing an oversized grey top and black leggings, she stood at the front of class demonstrating the routine.

She kicked her leg out to the opposite side and, after a few repetitions, travelled around the studio to observe her clients' form.

In the actress' typical bold style, she shouted to the females: "Smile!"

Afterwards, full of serotonin, she wrote in her caption: " Wow.. what an evening we had!

"A HUGE well done to all my feisty, strong women.. turning up in this heat 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Bev popped up on exercise slots on GMTV in the 80s, wiggling morning viewers through the mambo and the cha cha cha.

There were also four DVDs, books and a fitness column in a newspaper but she turned down a permanent gig on the morning show.
