Things took a turn for the worse for Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) in tonight’s Emmerdale, as Kyle (Huey Quinn) went missing.
As the family banded together to track down the lost boy, it was PC Swirling (Andy Moore) who eventually found him. However, he was in for a shock when Kyle asked to be taken to the police station instead of back home.
After Kyle was safely back at Butlers Farm, PC Swirling revealed to Amy and Moira that he knew Kyle’s big secret: he had shot Al.
Moira and Amy were quick to try to convince him that damaged Kyle was lying in order to get his dad back, but PC Swirling told them that it had to be put on record.
As PC Swirling left, things were far from over for the two women, as Caleb (Will Ash) had overheard the whole conversation.
The long lost Dingle managed to piece the facts together and work out that Kyle was responsible for killing Al and Cain (Jeff Hordley) was simply covering for him, just like he had for Caleb when they were younger.
Caleb was instantly concerned for Kyle’s welfare, claiming that living with a lifetime of guilt would be extremely damaging for him.
He told Moira that he would pay for legal representation for Kyle and would help to get Cain out of prison.
Despite telling him to leave, it was clear that his words were haunting Moira.
As she payed a visit to Cain later, she told him what Caleb had said, and was clearly disturbed by the idea that Kyle would be damaged by the pressure he is under.
She asks Cain to think about Caleb’s offer, but he instantly shuts her down.
Has Caleb done enough to convince Moira?
We know that Kyle is set to be interviewed about the shooting by the police, so will Moira go behind Cain’s back and have Kyle arrested?
