Big Brother contestant Tomasz Wania was rushed to hospital earlier this week.
The 31-year-old was taken out of the house in Elstree to seek medical help in London in scenes that will reportedly not air on the Channel 5 show.
"Tomasz left the Big Brother house briefly for a confidential medical appointment and returned shortly afterwards," a Channel 5 spokesperson said of the Polish-born cleaner.
"At the time of leaving the house he was chaperoned by a member of production and had minimal contact with the outside world."
Fan favourite Tomasz moved to the UK 10 years ago, and describes himself as gender fluid.
"Anything goes! It really doesn’t bother me," he said of gender pronouns.
The star is engaged to his partner of seven years, although they currently enjoy an open relationship.
Revealing his reasons for entering the Big Brother house, he said, "It’s an adventure of a lifetime, come on.
"You can only just get it once in your life, and if you don’t get it then you’re missing out.
"If you’re chosen, then you’re making memories for life."
